Blogging for clients is one of the best ways to get regular writing gigs. And we all know that regular jobs are the way to get regular money from online writing Travel Blog.
When you look for article writing gigs you tend to find jobs that once completed are done and finished with. You may get more work from that source but it isn’t guaranteed.
But with a regular blogging job you have a much better chance of being able to work for one client for a prolonged period of time. Here are a couple of examples from my own writing life to illustrate what I mean:
* One blogging gig has recently started for an initial period of ten weeks. That’s five blogs a week, regular as clockwork.
* Another blogging task is to write five blogs every fortnight for a travel blog. That one has been going since January 2009, with no sign of letting up yet.
Basically speaking, if you start working for someone and they like your writing, you can be assured that there is a big chance they will give you a regular writing job.
Regular work is good because you know you will be getting a steady stream of income from it. It may end eventually but it could be months or even years before it does – and if you do a good job you could be writing for a single blog for a very long time.
So the next time you go out hunting for some online writing jobs, start looking for ongoing blogging jobs as well. Over time you should aim to add several of these to your client list. When you do, you will be amazed at the difference it can make to your bottom line income.
